Brain Tumor Patients

After decades of unsatisfactory treatment outcomes for  malignant brain tumors, we are entering an era of new hope. Be aware that there are many clinical trials testing novel therapies you may be eligible for.  It is always a good idea to do research to educate yourself about your diagnosis and the many treatment options available.  You may wish to get a second or third opinion about your diagnosis and suggested course of treatment.

- Searching for clinical trials can be done at: http://clinicaltrials.gov/

In this webpage you can search by disease type (such as glioma, or brain tumor) and use therapy key words (such as immunotherapy, vaccine, gene therapy, etc.).

- The University of Minnesota Farview Medical Center is one option you have to complete your treatment.
